Neu-Isenburg, Germany, 14 May 2026 – Premium tyre manufacturer Hankook will supply its racing tyre, the Ventus F200, to HWA AG’s racing sedan HWA EVO.R competing in the 2026 Nürburgring 24H (ADAC RAVENOL 24H Nürburgring), taking place from May 14 to 17 at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany.
HWA AG is a global motorsport engineering company founded by Hans Werner Aufrecht, one of the co-founders of Mercedes-AMG and is widely recognized for its technical expertise in high-performance vehicle development.
At this year’s event, Hankook will serve as the Official Technology Partner of HWA AG, providing technical support throughout the race weekend. Hankook will equip the HWA EVO.R competing in the open SP-X class - where high-performance tuned vehicles compete - with its Ventus F200 racing slick tyre, engineered for dry conditions and optimized to deliver stable performance under extreme endurance racing environments.
The Ventus F200 is Hankook’s racing tyre recognized for its performance on the global motorsport stage. Developed with the latest technologies, the tyre delivers enhanced performance compared to its predecessor while achieving approximately 10 percent weight reduction. The tyre is designed to provide outstanding grip, high-speed stability, and precise handling performance in demanding race conditions.
This collaboration further expands the strategic partnership between Hankook and HWA AG following Hankook’s tyre supply for the limited-production HWA EVO model last year. Hankook currently supplies several ultra-high-performance OE tyre products for the HWA EVO, including the super-sports tyre Ventus evo Z, the high-performance summer tyre Ventus evo, and the high-performance winter tyre Winter i*cept evo3, demonstrating its advanced technology optimized for high-performance vehicles.
Moving forward, Hankook plans to further strengthen its premium brand competitiveness by expanding collaboration with HWA AG across both OE and motorsport sectors, including OE tyre supply for the HWA EVO and racing tyre support for the HWA EVO.R.
Meanwhile, Hankook continues to demonstrate its world-class motorsport technology by exclusively supplying racing tyres or supporting teams across more than 70 global motorsport competitions, including the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, and Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Data and experience accumulated through these competitions are integrated into Hankook’s advanced R&D infrastructure, driving innovation in high-performance tyre technology and reinforcing the company’s leadership in the global market.
