Hankook strengthens golf commitment – technology-driven premium brand in global elite sport

Neu-Isenburg, Germany, 19 February 2026 – Premium tyre manufacturer Hankook is expanding its involvement in international elite sport and reinforcing its positioning as a technology-driven, global premium brand. The company is a founding and only official tyre partner of the innovative U.S. golf league TGL presented by SoFi. TGL stands for Tomorrow's Golf League. The matches are held at the high-tech SoFi Center golf arena in Florida, USA, and are broadcast to around 150 countries.

The League was Co-founded by sports executive Mike McCarley with Tiger Woods – the world’s most renowned golfer – and Rory McIlroy, as well as additional partners, as a new, technology-supported format that combines a simulator environment with a real green that recreates real-world golf conditions. Three top players compete against one another in short, TV-friendly evening formats. Hankook uses this platform to showcase itself via LED boards, TV spots and live coverage, thereby creating additional touchpoints with golf fans around the world.

Global commitment to elite sport

In addition to its activities in motorsport and now in TGL presented by SoFi, Hankook is consistently pursuing its sports sponsorship strategy in football. The company is a partner of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League, which is organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), as well as a sponsor of Borussia Dortmund in Germany and Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.
