Daventry, UK, 7th September 2026 – Premium tyre manufacturer Hankook is returning to the Motor Transport Awards this September as sponsor of the ‘Best Use of Technology’ award, recognising businesses that are using technology to deliver meaningful improvements across the transport and logistics industry.

With the 2026 finalists now announced, the category highlights some of the most effective applications of technology within the sector. The award recognises a project that has successfully applied advanced technology – from vehicles, components and infrastructure to IT – to deliver tangible benefits for customers while improving operational efficiency.

The 2026 Motor Transport Awards will also mark a significant milestone, celebrating 40 years of recognising excellence and innovation across the UK road transport industry. The prestigious ceremony will take place at Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane, bringing together more than 1,250 industry leaders, operators and innovators for an evening recognising the people and businesses driving the sector forward.

The event will also offer an opportunity for professionals from across the industry to network, share ideas and reflect on the developments shaping the future of road transport.
