Neu-Isenburg, Germany, 29 July 2025 – With the introduction of the Smart Work AM11+, premium tyre manufacturer Hankook has introduced a tyre specifically developed for commercial vehicles used in regional and local distribution transport within the UK market. The new model is specially designed for applications with lots of stopping and starting and increased demands for robustness, such as the waste management sector, where the vehicles regularly make contact with kerb edges.
With this in mind, a key feature of the Hankook Smart Work AM11+ is the reinforced sidewall with built-in abrasion protection and special indicators. The innovative construction provides effective protection for the tyres against kerb contact and makes it easier to check for signs of wear. Three wear indicators on the side of the tyre enable quick wear checks, enhancing safety in daily use.
The Hankook Smart Work AM11+ will be available from September in the size 315/80 R22.5.
