Neu-Isenburg, Germany, 12.11.2025 – The 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo drew to a spectacular close from 8th to 9th November with the World Finals at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. A total of 81 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 2, equipped with the high-performance Hankook Ventus Race, served up a feast of motorsport in front of more than 10,000 fans on the last race weekend of the season. As it has done throughout the entire season, Hankook’s premium tyre provided the 600-hp sports cars with plenty of grip and a high degree of consistency at the 4.2-kilometre circuit in Italy. The race weekend brought the curtain down on a third successful season for the premium tyre manufacturer as official tyre partner of Lamborghini Super Trofeo and concludes in spectacular fashion with the annual World Finals. A victory in the final race in Misano was sufficient to see Danny Formal from Costa Rica and Sweden’s Hampus Eriksson from the Wayne Taylor Racing team crowned champions in the Pro class.
The 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo was held from March to November on four continents and at 16 different circuits. They included such renowned and prestigious racetracks as Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, Circuit Paul Ricard in France, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Watkins Glen International (both USA), and Fuji Speedway in Japan. Hankook’s Ventus Race impressed in all 38 races, demonstrating a high grip level that offered the sports cars from the Italian town of Sant’Agata Bolognese optimal support on a wide range of different surfaces.
Ahead of the grand finale in Misano, the continental champions were first decided. Putera Adam from Malaysia won both final races to become the first Asian driver to win the European championship. The champions in Asia were Alex Denning and Charles Leong from the SJM Theodore Racing team. The North American title went to eventual world champions Danny Formal and Hampus Eriksson. The 2026 Super Trofeo kicks off from 18th to 20th March with the opening round of the North American championship in Sebring (USA). The European series begins its season at Circuit Paul Ricard (10th to 12th April), while Sepang in Malaysia is the venue for the first event in Asia from 24th to 26th April.
Manfred Sandbichler, Hankook Motorsport Senior Director Europe: “Our third season together clearly showed that the Hankook Ventus Race and the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 2 form a strong and successful unit. Despite diverse conditions over the course of the demanding schedule, with 38 races on four continents, Hankook’s premium tyre faced and emphatically overcame the major challenges posed. Together with the drivers and cars, spectators and fans around the world were treated to an impressive package with spectacular and thrilling motorsport. The icing on the cake was the finale in Misano. As official tyre partner of Lamborghini Super Trofeo, I would like to congratulate all the drivers on a great season and am looking forward to the next year together with everyone involved.”
