Daventry, UK – 23rd February 2026 – Hankook Tyre UK has confirmed the appointment of Ho Seok Chea as UK Managing Director, marking a new chapter for the business. Mr Chea took up his new position on 1st January 2026 at the company’s UK headquarters in Daventry, bringing with him extensive international experience and a strong background in sales and marketing.
Prior to assuming his new role, Mr Chea held a range of positions across multiple regions and functions within Hankook. He began his career in the Global Headquarter OE Division in South Korea in 2005, where he developed a strong foundation in both technical and commercial aspects of the tyre industry. Over the years, he has built a wealth of technical, commercial and analytical expertise, complemented by broad international business experience. This includes roles at Hankook’s European headquarters as well as in the USA, and most recently in the Netherlands, giving him a deep understanding of diverse markets and a strong global perspective.
