Daventry, UK, 7^th November 2023 - Premium tyre manufacturer Hankook received an impressive four accolades from DriverReviews 2023 Customer Choice Awards including two category wins and two commendations. The Customer Choice Awards cover the nine vehicle categories that mirror the most popular automotive segments in the UK and were based on over 350,000 tyre reviews from genuine, verified customers who have driven over 300 million miles.

Hankook Tyre UK first partnered with DriverReveiws in 2021 to enable consumers to make an informed choice when they are looking for a tyre and to be confident in the Hankook brand. The latest awards show the trust customers have in Hankook’s wide range of high quality and high-performance products.

The Hankook Ventus Prime 4 and Ventus S1 evo 3 were winners in the ‘Best Tyres for Large Family Cars’ and ‘Best Tyres for Small SUV’s’ categories respectively, both gaining an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5 by drivers. The Ventus S1 evo 3 also scooped a ‘Commended’ award in the ‘Best Tyres for Medium and Large SUV’s’ with its SUV version scoring 4.7 out of a possible 5 stars. The Kinergy 4S2, Hankook’s multi-award-winning all-season tyre also received a ‘Commended’ rating in the DriverReviews Customer Choice Awards, off the back of its 2022 and 2021 Auto Express All-Season Tyre Test winner accolades, scoring an impressive overall rating of 4.8 stars out of 5.

The Ventus Prime 4 provides a mix of performance, safety, comfort and environmental properties with key performance criteria regarding safe handling, low wear, high comfort, low tyre noise and reduced rolling resistance. The ‘high mileage compound technology’ increases the rigidity of the tread block reducing rolling resistance and tread wear.

The Ventus S1 evo 3 is equipped with a high-strength bead core which, in combination with the reinforced sidewall, ensures sporty, dynamic handling and also high driving stability, directional stability and steering precision, particularly at high speeds. Numerous well-known car manufacturers use this tyre as original equipment for their top models.

The Ventus S1 evo 3 SUV summer tyre delivers an enhanced sporty and dynamic performance on both dry and wet roads due to a new tread compound using high-performance natural resins. The use of a special nylon material in the sidewall area, “bead packing,” provides significantly increased sidewall strength.

The Kinergy 4S 2 is an all-season specialist for various weather and temperature conditions. It offers balanced and consistent performance. The tyre is aimed especially towards quality and cost-conscious drivers who wants to do without the six-monthly tyre change, but still want year-round balanced performance and safety.
